RAWALPINDI: The Islamabad special judge central has adjourned the hearing of the Toshakhana-II case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, summoning two additional witnesses to appear in court on December 26. Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand had conducted the hearing at Adiala Jail on Friday. The accused, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were both present in court during the proceedings.During the session, the statements of the first two prosecution witnesses were recorded. The witnesses included Cabinet Division officer Maysam and State Bank Joint Director Malik Sajid. The Cabinet Division officer presented the notification of Imran Khan’s appointment as prime minister, while the State Bank officer provided official exchange rates for dollars and euros from 2018 to 2021.The defence team, comprising Qausin Faisal Mufti (representing Imran Khan) and Arshad Tabrez (representing Bushra Bibi), cross-examined the witnesses.
