PESHAWAR: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday postponed the hearing of a case against former provincial minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Kamran Bangash due to incomplete challan.

ATC Judge Asadullah directed the officials to submit a complete challan at the next hearing.

Former provincial minister Kamran Bangash appeared before the court. The court was informed that Chamkani Police had raided Bangash’s hujra in an attempt to arrest PTI leader Murad Saeed, who had gone into hiding.

During the raid, Bangash and his associates had allegedly opened fire on the police party, injuring two cops. The incident took place on December 20, 2023 and a terrorism case was registered against Kamran Bangash and others.

The police submitted an initial charge-sheet to the court, but it was deemed incomplete.
