Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority’s National Emergencies Operations Centre has issued a weather advisory, insisting that cold and dry conditions are expected in most parts of Punjab, with smog and fog likely to persist in the plains until Dec 26.
However, the Potohar region, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, and the north-eastern areas of Punjab, are likely to experience cloudy weather, with isolated rainfall possible on Dec 23 and Dec 24 to provide relief from the prolonged dry spell, according to the centre.
It added that cold and dry weather would dominate Balochistan and Sindh throughout the period from Dec 21 to Dec 26.
