ISLAMABAD: The PPP negotiating team Friday expressed lack of confidence in the federal government on the commitments made to the provinces.
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired a meeting at the Bilawal House, Karachi in which the participants briefed him on the progress in negotiations with the government so far.
Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and senior PPP leader and MNA Syed Naveed Qamar attended the meeting. A detailed discussion was held on the overall political situation in the country.
The participants also informed him about the upcoming legislation planned by the government.
Bilawal instructed the participants to intensify their engagements with the government so that positive outcomes from these interactions could be presented during the PPP Central Executive Committee meeting.
