Naqvi, Sherpao discuss KP’s law and order

PESHAWAR: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and former interior minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao on Friday discussed the prevailing political situation in the country.It was learnt that Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of Aftab Sherpao, who is also Chairman of the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).

QWP provincial Chairman Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao was also present on this occasion.During the meeting, the leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in the country, focusing on critical issues affecting the region.

The two leaders discussed the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in Kurram tribal district, where major roads are still closed following violent clashes that claimed many lives.

Both leaders expressed concerns over the deteriorating law and order and deliberated on potential measures to address the challenges.They highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between the federal government and other stakeholders to restore peace

and ensure the safety of the people.The two leaders underscored the need for an effective security strategy to address the concerns of the local population and maintain stability in the region.
