CDA getting ready to introduce digital parking in all major parks

Meeting was attended by CDA members, DG Resource Wing, ED Capital Hospital and the relevant senior officers

Islamabad: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday chaired a meeting to discuss proposals for improving resource management, operational efficiency, and enhancing the authority's revenue generation.

The meeting was attended by CDA members, DG Resource Wing, ED Capital Hospital and the relevant senior officers.

The DG Resource Wing provided a detailed briefing on proposals and practical policy interventions aimed at optimising performance and tapping into untapped resources.

The meeting also reviewed strategies for streamlining operations across key CDA Wings and departments, including the Environment Wing, Capital Hospital, Directorate of Health Services, and the Enforcement Wing.

Randhawa emphasized the importance of coordination across CDA directorates and Wings to implement approved initiatives and proposals effectively.

He directed the Resource Wing to identify gaps, monitor progress, and ensure timely execution of proposals to optimize resource utilization.

The meeting discussed the various proposals for the Environment Wing included identifying revenue-generating sites, re-auctioning inactive sites and introducing premium recreational facilities in the city.

During the meeting, the CDA Chairman directed the introduction of digital parking in all major parks of Islamabad. He stated that the revenue generated from the parks would be spent for development and maintenance of the parks.
