LAHORE:Lahore police have finalised a comprehensive security plan to ensure the safety of Christmas celebrations across the city. Over 5,000 officers and personnel will be deployed to maintain peace and order during the festive season.
According to officials, 622 churches in the city have been geo-tagged to enhance security arrangements. The Safe City Authority will monitor the surveillance cameras installed in and around these places of worship, ensuring real-time vigilance. SP Security stated that a three-tier security system has been implemented at churches to address potential threats effectively.
In addition to securing places of worship, law enforcement will also be deployed at public parks and recreational spots, ensuring a safe environment for citizens enjoying the festivities. Police officials have urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. These measures aim to provide a peaceful atmosphere for the Christian community and other citizens celebrating the holiday season.
