LAHORE:Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has said Chief Minister’s Children Heart Surgery Programme and other health initiatives launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the people are being ensured by the Punjab Health Initiative Management Company. The capacity of the Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC) is also being increased, he said.
He was speaking at the 88th meeting of the Board of Directors held at Punjab Health Initiative Management Company. The meeting was attended by Secretary Health Punjab Azmat Mahmood, CEO PHIMC Dr Ali Razaq, members of the Board of Directors, CEO Punjab Healthcare Commission Dr Saqib Aziz and Nousheen from PITB. Dr Adnan Khan, Sultan Mahmood and Additional Secretary Finance M Bilal also participated through video link. CEO Dr Ali Razaq presented various agendas for approval in the meeting of the Board of Directors.
Khawaja Salman Rafique ratified the decisions of the 87th meeting of Punjab Health Initiative Management Company. The meeting appreciated the efforts of CEO PHIMC Dr Ali Razaq for the successful implementation of health initiatives. During the meeting, approval was given to have annual audited accounts and an auditor for the year 2024-25. During the meeting, consideration was also given to recruitment on new posts for effective monitoring of government hospitals.
