ISLAMABAD: In the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) recently-held competitive exams, four high-scoring candidates in the written examination failed to get enough marks in their interviews to get recommendation for appointment to any provincial department.
According to official documents, Muhammad Kamran secured second place with 663 marks in the written examination. However, he could secure only 62 marks in the interview. Also, Javed Ayub Mugheri secured 641 marks in the written examination, but he was awarded only 63 marks in the interview. The third candidate, Ahmed Khan secured 640 marks in the written examination and he could secure only 62 marks in the interview. Abdul Ghafoor secured 628 marks in the written examination, but he was given 70 marks in the interview. The SPSC released the results of the competitive examination 2021 the other day. A total of 150 candidates were declared successful in the competitive examination. After the interviews, 73 were recommended for appointment. The names of those who secured second and fourth positions in the written examination were not included in the recommendations for appointment. There were also many candidates who were given more than 150 and up to 180 marks in their interview.
