QUETTA: The Public Accounts Committee of Balochistan was told that out of 65 teachers who had gone abroad for education, 13 had acquired foreign citizenship. The Committee directed to recover all expenses from their guarantors and that FIRs be filed with the assistance of NADRA and FIA.
A meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was held under the chairmanship of Asghar Ali Tareen in the committee room of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. The meeting thoroughly reviewed the appropriation accounts of Balochistan University for the financial year 2019-2021 and the audit paras for 2022-2023. The participants included Fazal Qadir Mandokhail, Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Secretary of the Assembly Tahir Shah Kakar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan Zahoor Bazai, and other officials.
Tareen remarked that the country’s future is connected to universities and knowledge.
