Charity praised for serving thalassemia patients
PESHAWAR: District Social Welfare Officer, Peshawar, Sardar Ali, on Wednesday, praised the services of the Frontier Foundation for the free treatment of patients suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood-related disorders.
During his visit to the Frontier Foundation Hematological Services, he took a round of the thalassemia and hemophilia wards and met the children undergoing treatment. He also inspected the modern laboratory and blood bank.
Administrator Frontier Foundation, Dr Fakhar Zaman briefed the visiting official about the organization’s activities, including blood camp organization, blood collection, blood donation screening, and the services provided to children suffering from blood diseases, such as blood transfusion.
