Strategy devised to curb one-wheeling

LAHORE:Lahore Police has devised a comprehensive strategy to curb this life-threatening activity. According to DIG Operations M Faisal Kamran, 55 hotspot areas for one-wheeling have been identified in the city, and strict monitoring of roads is being conducted with the help of Safe City cameras.

To tackle the issue, police have increased checkpoints in hotspot areas and intensified patrolling by Dolphin and Police Response Units. Kamran emphasised that not only one-wheelers but also their facilitators, including mechanics who modify motorcycles for stunts, will be arrested and sent to jail.
