Deprived at will

On Sunday (December 8), the power supply to blocks 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of Federal B Area, Karachi, went off at 7am and was restored at 6.30pm without any break or prior notice. This act of suspending power supply to several blocks of FB Area continues off and on.
It seems as if K-Electric has been given a free hand to deprive the people of electricity without taking into consideration the problems they face in the wake of long breakdowns. The concerned ministry is requested to look into the matter and ensure that at least those who pay their bills are not randomly deprived of power.
