ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Chairman Imran Khan Monday said he was ready to spend his entire life in jail but will never bow down before the Yazeed of time.

He was talking to his party workers and lawyers in Adiala Jail Court after completing 500 days in imprisonment. He reiterated his advice to the workers and lawyers not to panic. “The nation should be ready, I will announce the next course of action soon,” he said.

“Allah is with those who are patient. We are all sacrificing for the true freedom of this country. You have to be patient and join me in fighting against oppression,” he emphasised. PTI supremo remarked, “In D-Chowk, the modern-day General Dyer, considering the nation as his slaves, opened fire on unarmed and peaceful citizens without provocation. We will never forget this incident and will bring justice for our workers and martyrs”.

Imran said he had been told by workers and lawyers that the 12 martyrs who have come forward so far are those who were martyred before sunset on November 26, and the rest were shot dead at night after the electricity in the area was turned off.

“Where have they disappeared? Dozens of people are still missing. It is the responsibility of the government to find the missing persons and make all the data public. Thousands of people, including the media, saw the indiscriminate firing and brutality with their own eyes and after that there are media reports of hospitals disappearing records and refusing to provide the bodies of the martyrs to their heirs,” he noted.

The founder chairman of PTI demanded that an independent judicial commission should be formed as soon as possible to conduct a transparent investigation into the ‘false flag operation’ of May 9 and the ‘Islamabad massacre’ of November 26 and to determine those responsible, including the most senior Supreme Court judges.
