Family of martyred cop gets house

LAHORE: Punjab IGP Dr Usman Anwar is ensuring the best welfare families to brave police martyrs, As part of this initiative, he has handed over a house worth Rs17.5 million to the family of martyred Sub-Inspector M Arshad. According to a spokesperson for Punjab police, the house has been purchased in a private housing scheme as per the family's preference. Sub-Inspector M Arshad embraced martyrdom in April this year, and his family consists of his wife and three sons. On the special efforts of the IG, the Punjab government released funds for the martyr’s family’s house.
