MNA complaints about loadshedding during Taraveeh

OKARA: MNA Ch Riazul Haq Juj has filed a complaint against the Lesco to the federal minister for water and power for observing loadshedding during Taraveeh.
In his complaint, the MNA said that the Lesco suspended power supply during Taraveeh from 9pm to 10:15pm. Due to the loadshedding, the people faced several problems during Taraveeh in mosques.
COPS WARNED: District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Rana has said that policemen found absent from security duty around mosques during prayer timing will be sacked. Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he said that he would pay surprise visits to mosques to check presence of policemen there. He said that the law and order situation was under control in the district. He said that members of defunct organisations would be strictly monitored.
DRIVER ELECTROCUTED: A rickshaw driver was electrocuted here.
Muhammad Javed of Mohallah Pir Islam, Haveli Lakha, was on his way when a hanging wire touched his rickshaw. As a result, Javed received an electric shock and died on the spot.
