Commissioner, DCO visit Ramazan Bazaars

KASUR: DCO Ammara Khan has said that the chief minister has announced special Ramazan package of billions of rupees for providing relief to the people.
She said this while visiting Ramazan Bazaars at Phoolnagar, Pattoki, Chunian, Ellahabad, Kanganpur, Khudian and Kasur. She urged the officers concerned to work devotedly to make the package successful. She said that it was our responsibility that fruits of Ramazan package should reach the masses. She directed the price control magistrates to pay surprise visits to the markets to check the prices of daily-use items. She made it clear that profiteers and hoarders would not be allowed to exploit the people. She directed that indiscriminate action should be continued against hoarders and profiteers. She said that a central monitoring cell had been established in her office where arrangements in all Ramazan Bazaars of Kasur would be monitored through CCTV cameras.
Meanwhile, Lahore Commissioner Abdullah Sumbal visited a Ramazan Bazaar at Railway Station Chowk. DCO Ammara Khan, AC Shah Rukh Niazi and others were also present.
