SWABI: A police constable embraced martyrdom when militants opened fire on him in the jurisdiction of Parmuli Police Station, officials said on Monday.
Zubir Mohammad told police that his brother Ishtiaq Ahmad was returning from his poultry farm when the militants targeted him late in the night, martyring him on the spot. He said Ishtiaq was performing duty in the sub-division of Peshawar Electric Supply Company.Meanwhile, the funeral prayer for the martyred cop was performed at Police Lines Shahmansoor.
