ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the appointment of two ambassadors abroad.
Marghoob Saleem Butt has been appointed as the new ambassador of Pakistan to Switzerland. Marghoob Butt is currently posted as Additional Secretary for SCO in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Amir Shaukat has been approved to be posted as ambassador to Egypt. Shaukat is currently serving as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Switzerland.
According to sources in the Prime Minister’s Office, the approval for the appointment was given on the summary sent by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
