ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a warning to the public to be careful to avoid fraud and forgery.
The NAB has warned the public to avoid buying and selling files of unregistered housing schemes and providing any details on fake messages about ATM card blocking.
The NAB also warned the public to avoid promise of unrealistic reward in return on investment, illegal deposits and private loan apps, fake messages on BISP funds, online employment/visa frauds, online trading Cryptocurrency (Bitcoins etc.), multi-level marketing, Ponzi schemes and online lotteries, online trading of foreign currencies (forex trading) and fake insurance coverage offers.
The NAB also appealed to general public never to share personal or bank account information (password or PIN code). “Don’t fall into the temptation of high and unrealistic profits, don’t invest in schemes without verification and don’t sign documents without reading the terms and conditions,” the NAB said in the warning.
