TAKHTBHAI: The local police seized weapons and drugs and arrested the accused during search and strike operations in various areas of Takhtbhai tehsil on Saturday.
A team of police headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Takhtbhai Circle, Shakeel Khan, and Station House Officer, Takhtbhai Police Station, Murad Khan conducted search and strike operations in various areas and seized weapons and drugs and arrested the accused involved in various crimes.
About 28 police personnel, including lady police participated in the operation where 29 houses were searched. During the operation, a Kalashnikov rifle, three pistols, and 66 cartridges were recovered, while two proclaimed offenders were arrested.
Also, four persons were arrested under the Tenancy Act, and two cases were registered against the accused under the 216.
Meanwhile, the Shergarh police also arrested two drug dealers and recovered heroin and hashish from tehri possession.
The police team led by DSP, Saddar Circle, Noor Daraz Khan, and SHO Shergarh Police Station Salamat Khan took action against drug dealers.
