Book launched
Islamabad : A momentous event unfolded at the Federal Urdu University, Islamabad, with the official launch of the book “Bridging Horizons: Unravelling the Enigma of Connectivity between Pakistan and Central Asia.” Authored by Dr. Uzma Siraj, Dr. Faisal Javed, and Arkadiusz Zukowski, the book has already been hailed as a significant academic contribution to understanding Pakistan’s geopolitical importance and its potential to forge deeper ties with Central Asia, says a press release.
The launch ceremony brought together a distinguished gathering of academics, policymakers, and diplomats. Among the eminent personalities gracing the occasion were Prof. Dr. Ijaz Shafi Gilani, Chairman of Gallup Pakistan; Khalid Rahman, Chairman of the Institute of Policy Studies; Ambassador Syed Abrar Hussain, Vice Chairman of the Institute of Policy Studies; and Ambassador Riaz Hussain Bukhari, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan. The guests’ thought-provoking discussions emphasised the need for deeper regional integration and the strategic importance of trade routes. This book is a milestone for policymakers, researchers, and students alike.
