The Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Controller of Examinations Fawad Shaikh, Deputy Controller Manthar Gopang and Assistant Admin Officer Muhammad Farooq Khan in a late night raid in connection with the Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 paper leak case.

Raids are being conducted for arresting the remaining nine nominated in the case, including Sajid Mahmood Alvi, Vinod Kumar, Ram Lal, Kaltir Menghwar, Shan Afandiyar, Rizwan, Shazeb Hamdani and Khalilur Rehman.

According to the investigating officer of the case, Bilawal Mallah, a member of the Human Rights Justice & Defenders Organisation’s board of directors, had filed a complaint with the FIA Cyber Crime Wing on October 18 regarding the leak of the MDCAT 2024 paper leak.
