LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar reviewed the pending audit para objections related to various regions and districts in a meeting held at Central Police Office on Thursday.
On the occasion, the IGP directed all heads of regions, districts, and units to clear relevant audit para objections as soon as possible. He asked DDOs or officers of SP rank to ensure their presence in meetings related to audit paras and verify the working papers of audit para objections from the DG Audit before submitting them to the relevant committees.
He said the clearance of audit para objections must be in line with the timeline provided by the Home Department and the DDOs should prioritise clearing the audit para objections from their current assignments, along with addressing the objections from previous periods.
