Three students of Beaconhouse University excel in UoL programme

Islamabad: Three students from Beaconhouse International College have achieved a significant milestone by securing the highest global marks in five subjects of the University of London’s (UoL) Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme.

Urooba Ishtiaq excelled in Employability and Human Resource Management, Operations Management and Marketing Strategy, and The Global Economy and Multinational Enterprise. Momina Sajid achieved top marks in Consumer Behaviour and Global Marketing. Syed Aarij Asad stood out in International Business and Accounting.

Their achievements not only showcase the academic excellence fostered at Beaconhouse International College but also highlight Pakistan’s growing prominence in the global academic landscape. Pursuing a globally recognised degree, these students have set a shining example for their peers. This accomplishment is a moment of pride for the students, their teachers, institution, and the nation as a whole.

Convention on ‘people’s agenda for transforming education’ tomorrow

Islamabad: The Society for Access to Quality Education (SAQE) is organising its 15th annual convention titled ‘People’s Agenda for Transforming Education; from Silos to Systems’ tomorrow (December 11), at a hotel here, says a press release.

The convention will feature a session ‘Reimagining Education - A Youth-led Blueprint for Systemic Change’ and policy dialogue ‘Citizen’s Agenda for Gender-Responsive, Inclusive, and Resilient Education.’

The convention aims to bring together relevant stakeholders in the education sector, amplify youth and community voices and develop consensus among policymakers, public sector actors and civil society on collectively addressing the education emergency through transformative, resilient and inclusive education in Pakistan.
