Over Rs1.15m allocated for treatment of cops

LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar Monday allocated more than Rs1.15million for medical expenses of cops.

Constable Naveed Anjum was given more than Rs615,000 and constable Kashan Mehdi of Jhelum Police over Rs550,000. The IGP in his statement said no employee or their family members facing health issues will be left alone and Punjab Police will continue to provide all possible support to its employees from its resources.
