ISLAMABAD: Bangladesh’s new High Commissioner, Iqbal Hussain, will arrive in Pakistan next week and is likely to assume his diplomatic duties in Islamabad in the beginning of the new year.
It should be remembered that after the change of government in Bangladesh, the name of Bangladeshi High Commissioner Ruhol Alam Siddiqui was also among the diplomats appointed by the previous regime in foreign countries who were recalled after the ouster of Hasina Wajid.
However, Ruhol Alam remained in Islamabad as the High Commissioner in inactive status waiting for the newly appointed high commissioner.
