ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Sunday denied the statement of the party founder chairman’s sister Aleema Khan regarding Imran Khan’s release.
“I had neither mentioned anything about the release nor did the government promise to release the PTI founder within 20 days,” he said while talking to Geo News by telephone.
He contended that the talk of releasing the PTI founder within 20 days in exchange for ending the sit-in was wrong.
Barrister Gohar said he had no contact on November 24 or before. There was no discussion (held) with the government about meeting the PTI founder.
