The collective will and wisdom of the people has seldom been proven wrong. Difficult times in Pakistan call for referring our problems to the people. Whether it is the protests in Islamabad or checks on the internet, the opinion of the majority must be kept in mind.
All too often, our parliament passes controversial bills which have no popular support. The people’s voice is not heard by the very legislature that claims to act on their behalf.
