Bilawal takes notice of atrocity on woman in Khairpur
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has taken notice of an incident in which a woman Shazia Marri was seriously wounded allegedly by her husband and others for giving birth to a baby girl near Faiz Gunj in Khairpur district. He directed the Sindh government to arrest the culprits immediately and bring them before the law.
In a statement issued by the party secretariat, Bilawal said that such atrocities against the women should be taken seriously by the administration without any delay and protection of women should be the priority of the government and its authorities everywhere in the province.
The PPP chairman expressed sympathy with the poor woman and also directed the Sindh government to arrange the best medical treatment for her besides providing her protection from the culprits involved in the attack.
