According to media reports and government data, inflation is slowing down. While the prices of essential items may no longer be rising as fast, the same goods are still far more expensive than they were just a couple of years ago. In many cases, prices have almost doubled. As a result, the majority is still suffering immense financial pain. In addition to high prices, people are also reeling from an exorbitant increase in taxes, lack of employment opportunities, and meagre salaries. Ordinary people are being squeezed to the limit.
