This letter refers to the editorial ‘Time for some calm’ (December 5, 2024). Inequality has been growing fast in Pakistan. The day may soon come when ‘one person, one vote’ becomes a thing of the past and the votes of affluent people are worth more. To say the least, I would not want to see such a day during my lifetime.
