The All-Parties Conference held by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Kareem Kundi was very necessary given the deteriorating security situation in the province, particularly in the Kurram district. It is time for the authorities to pay attention to this matter and come up with solutions.
In this light, the governor’s approach is quite conducive. Sadly, the KP government (controlled by the PTI) chose not to attend the conference. The PTI should not bring political disputes into such important matters. It has to prioritise the welfare of the province it is governing.
