14-year-old boy dies in aerial firing in Mirpurkhas
Relatives say boy was attending maternal uncle’s wedding when he was hit by bullet during aerial firing
SUKKUR: A 14-year-old boy died in the aerial firing at a wedding ceremony in a village in Mirpurkhas district on Wednesday.
According to details, the 14-year-old boy Rajesh s/o of Tirat Bheel was killed after being struck by a bullet during the aerial firing that took place at a wedding ceremony in Nawab Muhammad Hussain Talpar Deh 297, village near Kot Ghulam Muhammad in Mirpurkhas.
Accused Jamio Bheel, who was allegedly involved in the aerial firing at the wedding, was arrested on the spot and a weapon was recovered from his possession.
The body of the boy was handed over to his heirs after the postmortem examination conducted by Taluka Hospital Kot Ghulam Muhammad. They said that the deceased boy was attending his maternal uncle’s wedding when he was hit by a bullet during the aerial firing.
