PhD thesis defended

LAKKI MARWAT: Abdul Saboor Jan, a resident of Wanda Amir area of Lakki Marwat district, on Wednesday defended his Ph.D thesis at the Department of Political Science in Qurtaba University of Dera Ismail Khan.
He completed his thesis titled “Impacts of Al-Qaeda and Afghan Taliban on US-Pakistan relations: Problems and Prospects for Regional Peace” under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Ismail.
An external supervisor Dr Azmat Ali Shah evaluated his research work. Jan belongs to a respectable religious family of the district and he has expressed his desire to set up a school in Wanda Amir to impart religious and contemporary education to the children of destitute families.
