Two held for assaulting police officers in Korangi
The District Korangi police on Wednesday arrested two suspects allegedly involved in assaulting police officers during a confrontation earlier this week.
According to police, the incident occurred two to three days ago when a verbal altercation between law enforcement officers and a group of individuals escalated into a physical confrontation.
The authorities responded and apprehended two suspects, while a manhunt continues for the remaining culprits. One of the arrested suspects, identified as Arshad, stated that the altercation began as a verbal dispute before it turned physical. He expressed regret for his actions and issued an apology. A case has been registered for the assault on police officers, and ongoing raids are being conducted to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
