Two teenagers killed, as many injured as bus hits motorcycle

In a tragic accident on Wednesday, two young boys lost their lives while as many others were wounded as a speedy passenger bus hit their motorcycle in the Korangi area.

According to police, all four boys were travelling on the same motorcycle and the unfortunate accident took place near the PNT Gate No 4 within the limits of the Korangi Industrial Area police station.

Following the accident, police and rescue workers and transported the casualties to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where the deceased boys were identified as Subhan, son of Mushtaq, and Moiz, son of Ghulam, while the injured as Usman, son of Saeed, and Zubair, son of Younus.

Police said the injured boys’ condition was said to be out of danger, and the ages of the deceased and injured boys ranged between 15 and 20 years. They were struck by a speeding passenger Mazda on the N4 route. Police said the Mazda driver fled the scene with the vehicle after the accident.

The victims were residents of Korangi 100 Quarters and worked at a towel factory near Chamra Chowrangi. The accident took place while they were on their way to work. A case has been registered.
