LAHORE:Continuing its operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fee defaulters, LDA teams sealed 93 properties and demolished three illegal structures here on Wednesday.
LDA teams conducted operations in Gujarpura, Gulshan Ravi, Allama Iqbal Town and a housing scheme. LDA teams sealed 13 illegal marriage halls in Gujarpura, 21 properties were sealed in Gulshan Ravi, 34 in Allama Iqbal Town and 25 in a housing scheme.
The teams demolished two illegal properties, including a marquee site near Main Peco Road Kot Lakhpat and Rohi Nala. The properties sealed included marriage halls, private schools, offices, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, shops and others. Several notices were issued to these properties before the operation.
Meanwhile, LDA held a public auction for the lease and sale of residential and commercial plots, petrol pump sites, restaurants, sports sites, parking plaza sites and public utility sites in which LDA collected a revenue of more than Rs1 billion.
