ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court has granted interim bail to PTI leader Omar Ayub in a case related to the D-Chowk protest.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra presided over the hearing against Omar Ayub regarding the protest. Omar Ayub appeared in court alongside his counsel, Babar Awan.
During the proceedings, Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra said that Omar Ayub was named in case number 540 and that the issuance of warrants would be nullified upon the approval of bail.
The court directed Omar Ayub to submit surety bonds worth Rs5,000 for each case and adjourned the hearing until December 10.
It approved his bail application and instructed him to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
