SUKKUR: Anti-Terrorism Court Mirpurkhas on Tuesday rejected the bail applications of an accused in Dr Shahnawaz Kunbhar’s murder case, who was allegedly killed in a staged encounter in Sindhri on Sept 19.
On Tuesday, the ATC judge Mirpurkhas who had earlier reserved his decision, rejected the bail applications of the main accused Maulvi Ahmed Shahani and Mehboob Saand for snatching Dr Shahnawaz Kunbhar’s body from his heirs and later burning it.
The plaintiff of the case, Ibrahim Kunbhar told the media that the bail application of the accused Naveed Panhwar was approved due to his underage.
The 15 other accused have been sent to jail once again. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for December 12.
