ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will hold an open auction for two plots designated for five-star hotels in one of the poshest areas of the federal capital on December 17. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa met with a delegation of investors at the CDA headquarters on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming auction of these prime hotel plots in Islamabad. The meeting was attended by senior officials.
During the meeting, Chairman Randhawa emphasized the critical need for international-standard five-star hotels in Islamabad to meet the growing demand for hospitality services. He highlighted that this initiative would significantly enhance the city’s capacity to host national and international events and promote tourism, boosting the local economy and raising Islamabad’s global profile as a premier destination.
To address these needs, the CDA is offering five-star hotel plots for open auction, marking a significant opportunity to promote the hotel industry and fulfil the increasing demand for high-quality accommodations in the city.
The investors were given a detailed briefing on the specific plots being offered for auction—plots 6 and 8 in Sector F-5, one of Islamabad’s most sought-after locations. These plots present an ideal opportunity for investors to develop world-class hotels, commercial centres and serviced apartments. Such developments are expected to cater to the rising demand for luxury accommodation while contributing to the expansion of Islamabad’s business and tourism sectors.
The hotel plots will be offered on easy installment plans, with payments spread over two years. Possession of the plots will be granted upon 75% payment, and an additional 10% discount will be available for full upfront payment. These terms present an attractive investment opportunity for both local and international investors.
