Partly cloudy forecast

LAHORE:Dry, cold and partly cloudy conditions were observed in the City here on Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said a shallow westerly wave was present over upper parts of the country. They predicted that cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while, very cold in northern areas. Fog (in patches) was likely at plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours.

Rainfall was recorded at various cities across the country. Tuesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped to -08°C, while in Lahore, it was 13.2°C and maximum was 25.5°C. On the other hand, the average AQI of the City was improved to 160 and the PM2.5 concentrations were 13.7 times the WHO annual air quality guideline value.
