SUKKUR: Celebratory gunfire at wedding in Tando Jam ends a life of a young dancer in Tando Jam. A tragic incident unfolded during a wedding celebration in village Naseer Khan Pasio in Tando Jam, where celebratory gunfire led to the death of a 20-year old dancer girl Mahandi.

The shooting occurred two days ago, amidst the festivities, and police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the event. According to reports the parents of a groom had invited dancer from Hyderabad to dance in their son’s marriage. During dance the friends and relatives of a groom had fired to celebrate marriage in which dancer Mahandi and Jalal, the brother of a groom, were critically injured in the shooting.

Dancer Mahandi was immediately rushed to a hospital, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she later succumbed to her injuries. The girl’s devastated father, in his grief, shared that his daughter was an aspiring artist who had been attending the wedding when the tragic incident occurred.

The act of celebratory gunfire, which has been a longstanding issue at weddings and other public events, has once again proven deadly. Authorities are investigating the incident, with a focus on identifying those responsible for the reckless shooting that resulted in the loss of an innocent life.
