Shortlisting begins for rector of Comsats University
Sources say more than 50 candidates have applied for post, after shortlisting, candidates will be interviewed

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Science and Technology has started the process of shortlisting the incoming applications for the post of rector of Comsats University.
According to sources, more than 50 candidates have applied for the post. After shortlisting, candidates will be interviewed. The post has been vacant for almost two and a half years. Two and a half months ago, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir was appointed as the Rector, but he did not take charge of the post because was also appointed as the Rector of UET Lahore.
