RAWALPINDI: The indictment of PTI founder Imran Khan and others in the GHQ gate attack case was once again deferred on Monday.
An anti-terrorism court heard the case at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, where Imran Khan was presented in the courtroom. PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also brought to Adiala Jail under heavy security from Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail for the proceedings.
Imran Khan challenged the court’s jurisdiction during the hearing, with his defence team submitting a petition. Imran Khan’s lawyer, Babar Awan, explained that the petition pertained to Section 23-A of the Anti-Terrorism Act. The judge adjourned the hearing until December 3 (Tuesday).
