‘Fall in traffic accidents’

Rawalpindi:Due to the strategy of City Traffic Police, there has been a slight reduction in traffic accidents in Rawalpindi.

Strict implementation of traffic rules and awareness of the rules was ensured to prevent accidents at every possible level. Compared to the previous month, 5 fatal accidents and 2 accidents occurred in the city area in November and 2 accidents occurred in the rural area, while on the contrary, 10 accidents occurred in Rawalpindi in October, in which 11 lives were lost. In November, 7 accidents resulted in 7 lives lost, which is slightly less than in October. There were also 20 non-fatal accidents in November, in which 23 people were injured, while in October, 27 people were injured in 22 non-fatal accidents.

According to the CTP Rawalpindi, out of the 7 fatal accidents that occurred in November, 5 accidents occurred due to speeding, one accident due to driver negligence and one accident due to brake failure, against whose drivers legal action was also taken.
