PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief on Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Saif on Sunday said the movement for PTI founder Imran Khan’s release had gained strength following the D-Chowk incident.
He said the federal government was mistaken if it believed that oppression would weaken the PTI’s movement.
Barrister Saif said that everyone had confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, adding that rumours of internal differences within PTI were wishful thinking.
He said that under the leadership of Ali Amin Gandapur, the movement for Imran Khan’s release would gain momentum and Imran Khan would soon be among the people.
Barrister Saif said the federal government had harmed itself by resorting to violence. He said the blood of innocent workers would bring the government to its downfall.
“The love for Imran Khan in the hearts of the people is deep-rooted, and no tactics by the government can diminish it and the recent actions have only strengthened the bond of PTI workers with Imran Khan,” he said.
