This refers to the letter ‘Nothing better to do’ (November 15, 2024) by Shakir Lakhani. The writer is absolutely right. Unfortunately, the people of this struggling land (more often than not) adhere to wishful thinking and day-dreaming. We mustn’t forget that there is no ‘free lunch’ in this day and age.
We must develop our strategies and work ethics in line with global norms. If we all put in honest and hard work, then all wishful thinking and so-called conspiracies would succumb to their natural demise.
