AMTI resumes probe into alleged mismanagement
ABBOTTABAD: The Board of Governors (BoG) of Ayub Medical Teaching Institution (AMTI) Abbottabad has ordered the resumption of inquiry into the alleged financial mismanagement during the caretaker government.
BoG Chairman Dr Abid Jameel confirmed that the inquiry, which had been put on hold earlier, would now resume.
He said the committee would submit a report to the board in two weeks.
The secretary of the BoG in a letter issued on November 28 nominated Prof Dr Haq Nawaz as the chairperson of the inquiry committee, besides all other members already notified to hold the probe.
Prof Haq Nawaz, Prof Sajid Kazmi, and M Zeeshan will be the part of the committee.
A former BoG member and chairman of the inquiry committee, Asad Khan Jadoon, was included in the inquiry committee as a co-opted member.
