Three killed, 15 injured in truck-bus collision

HAFIZABAD: Three passengers were killed while 15 others injured when a truck hit a bus near Pindi Bhattian on Sunday morning.
A bus was going to Lahore from Sargodha when a truck coming from opposite direction collided with it due to overspeeding. As a result, bus driver Pervaiz Ahmad, Mumtaz Bibi and a child were killed on the spot while 15 others including, Asma Bibi, Rashida Bibi, Muqadas Bibi, Muhammad Shafi and Zafar Riaz, were injured. The injured people were taken to the Pindi Bhattian Hospital from where six of them were referred to the Faisalabad Allied Hospital due to their critical condition.

POWER OUTAGES: The people have been facing a number of problems due to 16-hour unscheduled loadshedding here. Meanwhile, a large number of labourers have become jobless due to closure of powerlooms owing to power outages.
